WHAT IS OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD?​

Operation Christmas Child is a unique project of Samaritan's Purse that brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. More than 80 million children in 130 countries have been touched by Operation Christmas Child since 1993. 

​

Through Operation Christmas Child, families and individuals of all ages have the opportunity to be part of a simple, hands-on project that can transform the lives of children and families as whole communities have the opportunity for further change through other development projects.

HOW TO PACK A SHOEBOX

​

The shoebox/es you pack will very likely be the first gift the child has ever received. One more box = one more child reached with the unconditional love of God.

GRAB A SHOEBOX​

​

Packs of pre-printed shoeboxes can be purchased at the foyer of Tim Winton Lecture Theatre after Sunday Service.  Or grab any average-size shoebox and cover the box and lid separately with brightly coloured paper. 

CHOOSE BOY OR GIRL​

​

Will you fill your shoebox with gifts for a girl or for a boy? And what age? 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14?

SHOEBOX LABELS & DONATIONS​

Order your label online and donate $10 shipping fee for each shoebox you are going to pack here. Follow your box and see where it goes!

FILL EACH SHOEBOX WITH SIMPLE GIFTS​

PRAY FOR THE CHILD​

Pray for the child who will receive your shoebox gift. Include a personal note of encouragement and a photo.
